Chaucer Insurance has used Ability Software consultancy to assist us in a number of key projects, including:

AI/400
Chaucer Insurance has adopted AI/400 as the tool that allowed us to integrate our server based Imaged-processing system into out AS400 Insurance package.
Users can now initiate document searches directly from the AS400 without the need to toggle to the Image-processing system and re-key Claim or policy numbers. AI400 provides a gateway from the AS400 to the Users desktop, allowing the Image-Processing system to be called directly, displaying the required document or view.
The process has greatly simplified the way Users were using the Image-processing system, and speeded up the process enormously.
The simplicity of AI400 makes it easy to develop AS400 applications that can interact directly with almost any type of server or PC based application. We intend to use it on a number of other developments in the near future, including integrating a Word Processing package with the AS400 to replace our existing Office Vision software.
