The Event Log subsystem is a workflow tool used to manage events associated with each major entity (Claim, Policy, Agent, Client, Third Party etc.) within the application.
Business Users can view different events within the log for a specific entity, and can view the details behind each event (i.e. if the event is a document from a document management system, the actual document is presented, if the document is a letter, the letter will be displayed from the relevant AS/400 or MS word processor).
The event log is one of the primary sources used in producing the ‘Large Claims Extract’ (see other Insure/90 project list) extract for solicitors / claims investigators.
