OnePlace is an innovative lifecycle management system that automates communications with customers via SMS, email and letters.

 

It is designed to significantly reduce costs, enhance customer service and satisfy compliance obligations. It sits on top of existing legacy systems and a workflow manager to generate messages based on specific events, e.g. "Claim Payment Issued". 

The initial version of OnePlace is customised specifically for the general insurance market.

The problem addressed by OnePlace in the insurance market is as follows:

·         Insurers and their agents (brokers) are inundated with telephone
queries from customers and claimants.

·         Brokers often have to contact insurers for information before they can respond to customers.

·         In addition, the regulator requires insurers and brokers to issue regular communications to their customers.

 

OnePlace solves these problems by automating the production of messages (SMS, email and/or letter) to customers.

Ability Software and Network Computer Services (NCS) have formed a partnership to future proof NCS’s reinsurance management software application, Balloon.

 

The aim of the partnership is to migrate Balloon on a phased basis from a FoxPro based application to a .NET and SQL Server application.
 

This migration will enable NCS’s clients to benefit from the existing wealth of functionality provided by Balloon operating on a new technology platform.

This allows NCS’s clients to be confident that as their business evolves Balloon will support this changing environment.
