The Work Log in another workflow management tool. For each Business User a log is maintained of items requiring attention as well as a history of completed activities. The lists contain a record of any new items of post requiring processing or manual events and alarms that the underwriter has generated (for example Phone calls in and out or note’s on a particular claim).
Individual items of work can be passed between business users for comment/appraisal and then returned to their originator to be completed. An optional GUI messaging application can be placed over the work queues. This will inform the business user (or group) with a popup message when new items have arrived in their work log.
